Rosario Medina is a passionate educator and community leader with over eight years of experience in elementary education and two years of teaching at Rogue Community College, where she supports the next generation of educators. She has also served on the board of the Ashland Community Health Foundation. She serves as Vice President of the Phoenix-Talent Education Association and represents Seat #4 on the Talent City Council, where she advocates for equitable policies and inclusive community engagement.
A lifelong resident of Talent, Oregon, Rosario has been a strong advocate for Latine and Indigenous families in Southern Oregon. She joined Coalición Fortaleza because she believes that fostering long-term disaster resilience and financial autonomy is essential to the strength and well-being of Latino/a/x communities. Rosario brings deep local knowledge, lived experience, and a strong commitment to collective action, and is honored to be part of this work.
